By bringing together startups, mentors, investors, venture capitalists (VCs), accelerators, incubators, service providers, we aim to create a centralized hub for innovation and collaboration.

OUR STORY
Every startup begins with a problem that needs solving, and ours was no different.
As founders who spent years immersed in Egypt's entrepreneurship and innovation scene, Emmy Tawfik and Sarah Khalifa saw the same challenge repeating itself: incredible ideas and passionate founders struggling to find visibility, the right connections, and real growth opportunities. The ecosystem was thriving, yet fragmented. Information was scattered, collaborations were missed, and too many promising startups were left unseen.
We knew something had to change.
Drawing on our combined experience, we decided to build Startup Gate, a unified platform where founders, investors, mentors, and ecosystem partners could finally be listed to connect, collaborate, and grow together.
Startup Gate is backed by M-Empire Angel Network, one of Egypt's top investor networks supporting 180+ startups, behind some of Egypt's biggest success stories like Bosta, Breadfast, Wuzzuf, Maxab, Thndr, Bokra, Proteinea and many others. This partnership strengthened our mission and expanded our reach, enabling us to bridge even more connections across Egypt's innovation landscape.
